Dopo la longlist rilasciata una decina di giorni fa, sono state annunciate le candidature alle statuete dei BAFTA 2011, gli Orange British Academy Film Awards, che possono essere considerati come i parenti “londinesi” dei ben più famosi Academy Awards.
A farla da padrone è stato, ovviamente e senza troppe sorprese, l’ inglesissimo “Il discorso del re” di Tom Hooper, mentre tante statuette fanno gola agli americani “Black Swan“, “Inception“, “Il Grinta” e “127 ore“. Assurda, dopo il grande successo ai Golden Globes, la prestazione di “The Social Network” di David Fincher, grande favorito delle settimane precedenti, che conquista solo 6 nomination. Onore al merito per Luca Gudagnino e il suo “Io Sono L’Amore“, che riesce ad ottenere una candidatura come Miglior Film Straniero.
